This Pasta with Chicken Bone Broth, Butter and Parmesan is pure comfort food! We adapted this recipe from Claire of sprinklesandsprouts.com
Like she said it is a bowl of wonderful, warming, healing amazingness and it may become your new favourite simple dinner.
The pasta is cooked in our Chicken BONED broth using a low simmer so it won’t totally evaporate the liquid. If you do like to add more, then do so. You can also add shredded chicken to make it a whole meal. Pasta cooked in bone broth will add that wonderful flavour to every spoon.
This Pasta with Chicken Broth, Butter and Parmesan is pure comfort food with the chicken bone broth as the star!
- 4 cups chicken BONED broth
- 2 cups small pasta shapes (we used macaroni)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano cheese
- black pepper
- Salt to taste (you probably won’t need any)
- fresh basil (parsley works well too)
Instructions
-
Bring the chicken BONED broth to a boil.
-
Add the pasta and stir well
-
Turn the heat down to a very gently simmer and cook the pasta as per the packet instructions. Ensure you stir it during the cooking as you are only using a small amount of bone broth.
-
Once the pasta is cooked, remove it from the heat and stir in the butter.
-
Use a slotted spoon to divide the pasta between the serving bowls.
-
Pour over the chicken stock.
-
Add the parmesan, plenty of black pepper and garnish with your fresh herbs.

Notes
When you serve add as little or as much of the buttery bone broth as you like. Add more garnish or cheese as you prefer as well.
Something simple, delicious and most importantly easy to eat.
The key to this killing a hangover is the homemade chicken bone broth. It does just make the world better.
Thank you for this wonderful recipe Claire!
